Apple is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to architect and ship AI-powered solutions for Finance at scale. You will own end-to-end delivery, from RAG analytics to agentic automation, while defining the AI strategy and engineering standards.

In this builder-leader role, you’ll ship code to production, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Finance to identify high-impact opportunities and deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• 7+ years shipping production web applications with demonstrated technical leadership.
• Graduate degree in CS, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• Deep Python and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React, Vue) expertise.
• Proven track record deploying generative AI solutions to production.
• Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) experience.
• Excellence in design, code review, testing, and GitOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship production AI applications used by Finance teams daily.
• Set engineering standards for AI delivery, including observability and SOx compliance.
• Lead by example by architecting services, optimizing RAG pipelines, and debugging prod issues.
• Mentor engineers, conduct architecture reviews, and foster engineering excellence.
• Drive production excellence with SLOs, drift monitoring, and CI/CD improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to deliver high-impact features with measurable value.
