Job summary

SavvyMoney, Inc. is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to architect and implement internal AI tooling in a fully remote setting across the United States.

The role focuses on owning the technical direction of AI systems, writing production-grade code, and defining reference architectures that scale with organizational needs. You will partner with business and executive stakeholders to gather requirements, ensure successful delivery, and drive adoption of AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including production LLM systems.
• Proficient in Python and AWS-based cloud development.
• Strong analytical skills for adopting metrics and executive reporting.
• Experience driving organization-wide adoption and leading communities of practice.

Leading the development of internal AI systems, the full-time Lead AI Engineer will architect and implement AI tooling, drive adoption across the organization, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance AI literacy in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and development of internal AI systems, including writing code and defining reference architectures
• Partner with business and executive stakeholders to elicit requirements and ensure successful delivery and acceptance of AI projects
• Recruit and manage a network of AI champions to facilitate adoption and create a culture of AI literacy within the company

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including production LLM systems
• Deep hands-on proficiency in Python and cloud-native AWS development
• Strong analytical skills with experience in defining adoption metrics and reporting to executives
• Demonstrated success in driving organization-wide behavior change and managing communities of practice
• Comfort working cross-functionally with various departments including engineering, legal, and business leadership
