Job description

We are seeking a Lead AI Engineer to drive the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI/ML solutions. This role combines technical leadership with hands‑on engineering, guiding teams to build scalable, production‑grade systems while aligning AI initiatives with business objectives. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in modern AI techniques, strong leadership skills, and experience delivering impactful, end‑to‑end solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of end‑to‑end AI/ML solutions, from prototyping to production
  • Architect scalable, secure, and high‑performance systems for real‑time and large‑scale applications
  • Develop and deploy cloud‑native AI/ML systems using modern infrastructure and containerization technologies
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to define requirements and translate business needs into AI‑driven solutions
  • Drive best practices across the ML lifecycle, including data preparation, model development, deployment, monitoring, and optimization
  • Guide the adoption of emerging AI technologies, including generative AI, natural language processing, and computer vision
  • Ensure systems adhere to best practices in data governance, security, and responsible AI
  • Communicate technical strategies, progress, and outcomes to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Contribute to organizational strategy by aligning AI initiatives with broader business goals
Required Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8–10+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying production‑scale AI/ML systems
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience building production‑grade applications
  • Expertise in machine learning, including experience with modern AI techniques such as generative AI, NLP, and/or computer vision
  • Experience with cloud platforms and scalable architecture patterns
  • Proven experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers
  • Strong understanding of the end‑to‑end ML lifecycle and MLOps best practices
  • Experience delivering projects from concept through deployment in alignment with business objectives
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to diverse audiences
