Job summary

Wolters Kluwer is seeking a Lead Technical Product Manager to own execution for APIs, integrations, and embedded AI capabilities that bring UpToDate intelligence into clinical tools and EHR systems.

In this role you will partner with engineering, architecture, data, security, and legal teams to translate workflow needs into platform requirements, define roadmaps, and ensure reliable production deployments that drive partner adoption and business growth.

Qualifications

• 6+ years delivering complex software products from problem definition through launch.
• Experience owning execution for a platform, API, or integration product area.
• Strong fluency in APIs, distributed systems, authentication/authorization, reliability, SLAs/SLOs, and cloud architecture.
• Experience building developer-facing integration capabilities (APIs, SDKs, docs).
• Experience shipping production AI-enabled capabilities with evaluation, monitoring, and guardrails.
• Healthcare domain or EHR interoperability exposure (SMART on FHIR, OAuth/OpenID Connect).

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of APIs enabling third‑party products to integrate UpToDate.
• Lead the delivery of embedded AI applications in clinical tools, including EHR systems.
• Translate partner, product, and clinical workflow needs into platform requirements.
• Define roadmap sequencing, dependencies, and tradeoffs for the assigned product area.
• Serve as the portfolio’s integration product expert across the portfolio.
• Apply and improve API governance, lifecycle management, and developer experience standards.
• Define requirements for AI quality, safety, evaluation, monitoring, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Data, Security, Privacy, Legal, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate priorities, decisions, dependencies, and risks to senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
