Job summary

iSpot.tv is seeking a full-stack engineer to join Seattle’s high-impact engineering team. You will architect AI-augmented workflows, prototype UI in React, and build scalable data pipelines with low latency, while mentoring others in AI literacy and best practices.

Responsibilities include leading AI-first development, ensuring observability, and collaborating across product and design to deliver ambitious AI-powered frontend experiences.

Qualifications

• Extensive full-stack experience with frontend components and scalable backend infra.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and backend languages (Node.js, Python, Go).
• Deep expertise in AI-assisted development and integrating AI APIs.
• Solid understanding of data structures, distributed systems, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Quality-driven engineering with test automation and AI-enhanced coverage.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-first development to accelerate UI prototyping and backend logic.
• Design extensible features uniting polished UX with backend services and data pipelines.
• Build scalable streaming and batch data pipelines with AI transforms.
• Mentor team on prompt engineering, automated refactoring, and AI ethics in production code.
• Drive shift-left testing and AI-driven observability to predict failures.
• Collaborate with product/design to align technical strategy with vision.
• Own on-call duties and improve runbooks using AI diagnostics.
