Job summary

iSpot is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to join a high-impact engineering team in the Seattle area. You will architect AI-augmented workflows bridging visionary UI with robust, high-throughput data pipelines.

You’ll lead AI-enabled UI prototyping, build scalable backends, and mentor peers in AI literacy, automated refactoring, and responsible AI in production. Eligible for equity via stock options and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Extensive full-stack experience with frontend components and complex backend infrastructure.
• Deep proficiency in AI-assisted development and integrating AI APIs/Vector Databases into production apps.
• Strong understanding of data structures, distributed systems, and database optimization (SQL/NoSQL).
• Quality-driven engineering with test automation and AI-enhanced coverage.

Responsibilities

• AI-First Development: adopt AI-augmented environments to accelerate UI prototyping and backend work.
• Full-Stack Orchestration: design features unifying UX with resilient services and fast data pipelines.
• Intelligent Data Pipelines: build scalable streaming/batch pipelines with AI-driven transformations.
• Technical Leadership: mentor on prompt engineering, automated refactoring, and responsible AI usage.
• Quality & Observability: drive shift-left testing and AI-based monitoring to predict failures.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: align tech strategy with product/design for AI-powered experiences.
• System Health: manage on-call duties and AI-assisted incident response.
