Job summary

Harnham is seeking a visionary Architecture Lead to drive the architecture of a large-scale AI data platform on Google Cloud. You will shape the technical vision, define cloud strategy, and set the foundations for secure data access and scalable delivery.

You will lead architecture workshops, document decisions, and ensure alignment with engineering, data, and AI teams. This role emphasizes security, IAM controls, and enterprise-grade data platforms in a remote US setting.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud data platforms on GCP.
• Strong knowledge of cross-cloud architectures including AWS.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform and cloud tooling.
• Designing high-availability REST APIs and GraphQL services.
• Knowledge of IAM, access controls, security governance and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery activities, architecture assessments, and design workshops.
• Own the solution architecture and architectural decision records.
• Architect a scalable GCP foundation across environments.
• Design secure, high-availability data access services and APIs.
• Establish architectural standards for identity, governance and data security.
• Collaborate with engineering, data and AI teams to deliver the vision.
