Job summary

Partner Company in the United States is seeking a hands-on Team Lead, Human Data Operations – Vision, Image & Video to manage a high-performing labeling team. You will own end-to-end quality, guide workflows, and ensure adherence to guidelines across image and video data.

You will directly contribute to labeling activities while coaching staff, analyzing KPIs, and partnering with data, engineering, and operations teams to translate model requirements into effective data strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or at least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with data quality metrics, annotation workflows, and guideline-driven processes.
• Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Notion, Axiom, JIRA, Linear, or equivalent platforms.
• Strong analytical skills and KPIs to drive operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality and delivery for assigned human data projects, personally reviewing work to ensure accuracy.
• Lead, coach, and performance-manage a team of AI Tutors through regular feedback and development.
• Participate in labeling and review activities to maintain quality standards.
• Manage guideline adherence, taxonomy processes, quality assurance workflows, and certification standards.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and throughput.
• Track team and project performance through KPIs and dashboards.
• Develop training materials and certification benchmarks; oversee certifications.
• Partner with other teams to translate model requirements into labeling strategies and guidelines.
• Foster a high-performance culture and support performance or disciplinary processes as needed.
• Document outcomes, risks, and results, and provide regular status updates.
