Job summary

NVIDIA seeks a Solutions Architect for Data Center Infrastructure to join the NVIS team in Austin, leading planning, deployment, and validation of data center infrastructure across power, cooling, cabling, networking, and telemetry.

You will audit designs, ensure alignment with reference architectures and standards, and mentor teammates while driving continuous improvement and collaboration with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of enterprise/hyperscale data center experience with deployment experience.
• Experience in data center operations or infrastructure management for large-scale deployments.
• Strong technical knowledge of power distribution, cooling, servers, networking, storage, and pre-deployment planning.
• Relevant certification – preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership under changing conditions; ability to adapt and deliver.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to plan and implement data center infrastructure based on NVIDIA reference architecture, including power, cooling, network, servers, and storage.
• Manage deployment of AI infrastructure solutions including rack-scale, liquid-cooled compute and networking hardware.
• Conduct pre-deployment planning: review cluster architecture, plan network port mapping and cabling BOM, identify risks, train vendors, and drive improvements.
• Evaluate customer/partner designs for standards compliance; provide feedback to improve performance, scalability, and cost.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of compute systems with product and engineering teams.
• Mentor NVIS team members to ensure success; provide guidance and support.
