Job summary

TekStream Solutions in Arlington, VA is seeking a Lead AI & Data Analytics Engineer to build AI-enabled analytics solutions for a high-impact federal modernization program.

You will design AI-enabled analytics products using Palantir Foundry and Databricks, build data pipelines, and develop AI capabilities across NLP, forecasting, and anomaly detection. Lead and mentor junior team members, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure governance and responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in AI, data analytics, data engineering, or analytics product development.
• Databricks is required.
• Experience with modern data platforms (Spark, Delta Lake, Kafka, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or Apache NiFi).
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, ML, NLP, semantic search, or AI-driven analytics.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-enabled analytics products for the program.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, reusable data models, and analytics applications.
• Develop AI capabilities including Generative AI, NLP, semantic search, anomaly detection, forecasting, and decision-support tools.
• Integrate data from multiple enterprise and federal data sources.
• Build dashboards and analytics using Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into AI solutions.
• Establish data governance, data quality, security, and responsible AI practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members.
