Job summary

Brillio in Dallas seeks an Agentic AI Technical Architect/ Lead AI Engineer to define the reference architecture, while remaining hands-on in critical implementation, code review, and engineering mentorship.

You will architect across model access, orchestration, retrieval, data, APIs, identity, and observability, build initial reference components, and set standards for reliability, security, and performance.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years total experience; max 10 years for this mandate.
• Production application and API design, cloud delivery, containers, and CI/CD.
• Hands-on RAG, tool/function calling, agent orchestration and model evaluation.
• Current coding evidence and mentoring experience with less-experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Define application architecture across model access, orchestration, retrieval, data, APIs, identity, and observability.
• Build initial reference components and review production code.
• Set standards for output, state, memory, asynchrony, testing, and failure handling.
• Establish evaluation, regression, security, and cost/latency practices.
• Mentor four early-career engineers through pairing, design review, and code review.
• Partner with the Product Manager to turn workflows into feasible product increments.
