Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a relevant field with 4+ years of research/ML engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience leading AI/ML systems development.
• PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, ML, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect goal setting and decomposition mechanisms for autonomous agents in uncertain environments.
• Design dynamic planning systems (hierarchical planning, curriculum learning, scratchpad loops).
• Collaborate on memory, tool-use, and feedback-loop designs for multi-step agent behavior.
• Develop evaluation frameworks to align with human intent and long-horizon objectives.
• Prototype agents interfacing with APIs, MCP servers, search engines, databases, or real-world actuators safely and efficiently.
• Explore mechanisms to detect and mitigate goal misalignment or undesirable emergent strategies.
• Work across teams to integrate goal alignment with safety and operational reliability.
