JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for the AI Agent Platform to orchestrate SDKs, tools, and memory for enterprise AI agents across teams. You will drive design, production deployment, and measurable improvements in NL2SQL, RAG, and grounding capabilities.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration with product, security, and risk partners, ensuring secure, scalable and high-performance services while mentoring engineers and shaping the platform roadmap.

Qualificações

• Formal training or certification on applied AI/ML concepts and 5+ years of experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Python with solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with production ML/LLM systems and reusable libraries.
• Practical experience with prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Designing reliable services with incident response readiness and performance tuning.
• Ability to lead technical decisions and communicate trade-offs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end delivery of the AI Agent Platform SDK and frameworks—from problem framing and technical design through production deployment, scaling, and monitoring that engineering teams use to build, evaluate, and operate AI agents.
• Own core platform services and reusable building blocks: agent orchestration, tool/function calling, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, and model-serving integration.
• Build and operate first-class agent modalities on the platform, including voice agents, document-extraction agents, and agentic memory.
• Drive systematic hill-climbing of core agent capabilities by building evaluation datasets, benchmarks, and quality metrics, then iterating on prompts, retrieval, and orchestration.
• Establish engineering standards through hands-on system design, code review, and mentorship to improve reliability and latency.
• Build and operationalize evaluation, testing, observability capabilities to continuously improve solution quality.
• Implement robust safety and governance patterns—guardrails, content filtering, access controls, and audit-ready practices.
• Partner with product managers and stakeholders to shape roadmap and success metrics.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, data, security, and risk partners to ensure security and scalability.
• Contribute to technical documentation and enablement content.
