Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking an Agile Developer 3 to lead full-stack development of cloud-based applications and microservices. You will analyze requirements, design and code new features, and debug existing software to ensure performance targets are met.

The role emphasizes API/datastore integration, software modernization, and Agile team leadership within a fast-paced project environment. Candidates should have a strong background in Java, React, Spring Boot, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 9 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.
• PhD with 7 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-stack development of cloud-based applications and microservices.
• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
• Provide recommendations to improve documentation and software development process standards.
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
• Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, system flow, data usage, and work processes.
• Serve as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process used on the project.
• Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance.
• Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models.
• Design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces and queries.
