Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a Lead Agentic AI Engineer to drive AI-powered experiences across Corporate Communications and enterprise platforms. You will combine cloud, data, and Generative AI expertise to build scalable solutions for search, automation, and knowledge discovery.

You will shape architecture, influence technical strategy, and advance Agentic AI capabilities across the organization while collaborating with product, engineering, and business teams in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

8+ years of related work experience with at least 2 years in development.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent; graduate degree preferred.
5+ years designing and developing solutions on AWS.
Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, automation, CI/CD, containerization, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of enterprise-grade cloud, data, and AI solutions.
Develop Agentic AI applications leveraging Bedrock, LLMs, RAG, and orchestration frameworks.
Design intelligent search and knowledge retrieval solutions for enterprise content.
Build and optimize data pipelines and cloud-native data platforms using AWS.
Create reusable services, APIs, automation frameworks, and cloud-native capabilities.
Drive architecture decisions and establish best practices across cloud/AI initiatives.
Implement infrastructure automation via Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and business partners on AI opportunities.
Ensure solutions meet security, governance, scalability, reliability, and performance standards.
Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across initiatives.
