Base Salary Range: $180,000 - $250,000 + commission + equity

What You’ll Do:

As the Agency Development Lead at X, you will play a key role working with one of our key holding companies. You’ll help develop strategic relationships, from the global holding company level to individual agencies of all types (creative, media, social, PR), to ensure that we deliver optimal value to agencies.

  • Serve as a liaison between agencies and X to help them develop and build first-class programs for brands
  • Explain and demonstrate how and why individuals use X to help marketers identify and inspire authentic uses of X for their brand or clients
  • Work with agencies to uplevel their creative thinking and structure programs that deliver positive business impact for their clients
  • Document and merchandise innovative uses of X with agencies
  • Discover, catalog, and showcase great X usage stories and evidence to help shape the understanding of how brands can use X
  • Advise agencies on programs and restructuring to increase knowledge and improve performance of their internal teams
  • Ensure agencies’ feedback is conveyed back to X’s Marketing and Product teams
  • Partner with sales to develop agency support plans
  • Grow agency relationships to increase X fluency and revenue across major accounts
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years marketing experience in an agency or media sales support role focused on emerging and social media
  • Ability to think strategically about industry and/or product sets
  • Deep expertise in social media platforms and X best practices
  • Strong client-facing skills; comfortable presenting to small or large groups
  • Familiarity with agency holding companies and strong relationships within the agency landscape
  • Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and networking skills
  • Excellent writing and copy editing skills
  • Self-starter, action-oriented, with the ability to balance quick wins and long-term strategies
  • Flexible, adaptable to changing priorities and ambiguity
  • Solution-driven, able to overcome obstacles to complete projects
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Keynote
  • BA/BS degree preferred; Master’s degree or equivalent experience a plus
