Job summary

TekWissen seeks an Air Vehicle Systems Design Engineer for Fort Worth, TX. You will design aircraft power conveyance and environmental control systems, prepare installations, and ensure compliance with design best practices and regulatory specifications.

Responsibilities include 3D routing, MBOM creation, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. Requires 5+ years in aerospace design and proficiency in GD&T, CATIA, and piping/tubing design.

Qualifications

At least 5 years aerospace design or transferrable industry related experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Aerospace) preferred.
Proficiency with GD&T and electrical harness, piping & tubing design.
Strong communication and ability to lead design activities and report status.

Responsibilities

Create 3D routing for fluids and electrical power conveyance systems.
Create model-based definition with 2D/3D annotations for components and BOMs.
Create structural provisions and bracket designs based on trade studies and analysis.
Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, or specialty personnel to resolve problems.
Mentor other engineers and lead the team in developing technical solutions.
Execute Tasks to Cost and Schedule requirements.
Apply technical knowledge to provide solutions to difficult problems.
