Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks an Aerospace Vehicle Equipment Lead Systems Engineer (level 3/4) to advance AVE environmental requirements for the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. The role coordinates with vendors and customers, reviews test procedures, and supports verification of environmental analyses and tests.

Required are a US citizen with DoD Secret clearance, MIL-STD, DOORS experience, and strong systems engineering skills. Relocation may be available; travel ~25% to CONUS test locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with requirements management across system levels.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-810, MIL-HDBK-344/310.
• Knowledge of DOORS and requirement verification.
• Ability to interface with vendors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Own AVE environment requirements and decompose them into lower levels.
• Review environmental criteria and test plans; support verification.
• Witness tests and approve ESS procedures and vibration/thermal cycling.
• Coordinate with REs and System Test to ensure readiness for verification.
