Job summary

Oliver Wyman Vector in Seattle is seeking a Lead Systems Test Engineer to develop and execute test cases, perform system-level testing, and ensure airplane systems and software meet requirements.

You will troubleshoot issues, collaborate with hardware and software teams, and contribute to enhancing testing strategies. The role requires onsite presence 3–5 days weekly and a DO-178C oriented background.

Qualifications

• Experience validating and verifying systems software, development assurance, safety analysis, and systems integration.
• Experience developing test cases with software development and systems engineering teams.
• Experience leading DO-178C compliant test programs.
• Strong testing methodologies and execution.
• Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with DOORS or similar requirements management tool.
• Experience authoring certification or process documentation for a DO-178C test program.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases for airplane systems and software.
• Perform system-level testing and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Ensure functionality and compliance of airplane systems.
• Plan and assess project performance and lessons learned.
