Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Ability to accurately track technical progress of complex airplane systems and software development
• Ability to plan, execute, and report status of complex software system development, managing a cross‑functional and international team that includes engineering development, test, and systems integration
• Ensure that execution is aligned with program goals and is on time and within budget
• Perform risk management and mitigation planning
• Provide analytical and problem‑solving skills to accomplish optimal project delivery and keep delivery running smoothly
• Compare actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity, and lessons learned
• Ability to keep stakeholders informed of up to date project status, including delivery progress, risks and roadblocks

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Excellent verbal and written communications
• Experience with RTCA DO-178C airplane software development and certification requirements
• Experience with airplane testing, verification, and delivery
• Experience with Agile software development processes
• Experience with Tier 1 project management tools
• Experience with JIRA, MS Project and Git
• Project management and delivery throughout all stages of the project life cycle from planning to in service delivery
• Bachelor's degree and 9+ years and/or advanced degree with 7+ years related work experience
• An accredited degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry Preference for accreditation to come from ABET
