Job summary

Torrey Holistics seeks a Lead Engineer to design and qualify energetic components for flight-critical propulsion systems. You will lead the product life cycle, align requirements, validate designs, and document milestones with rigorous test plans and reports.

You will interpret safety standards, manage data-driven analysis, and present engineers with clear specifications for qualification and manufacturing readiness.

Qualifications

• 10+ years developing and qualifying energetic components.
• BS or higher in Chemistry, Mechanical, Aerospace or Chemical Engineering.
• Hands-on with requirements verification and validation (V&V).
• Knowledge of ammunition and explosive certification processes.
• Meticulous organization, data-driven analysis, and clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer and internal needs into specifications and verification approaches.
• Design and analyze energetic components and propellants; partner with manufacturing to ensure robust build processes.
• Plan and run development/qualification testing, then analyze data to drive improvements.
• Author and present test plans, reports, and technical artifacts.
• Interpret and apply government safety standards and procedures for energetic devices.
