Job summary

Executive Recruiting Group seeks a Principal Manufacturing & Assembly Engineer to turn designs into reliable, repeatable aerospace production. You will design rocket propulsion structures, perform FEA, select materials, and support additive manufacturing while leading investigations and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve weight, reliability, and manufacturability.

The role requires 5+ years in aerospace structural design, experience with ANSYS/Abaqus, and a strong materials

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Materials Engineering
• 5+ years designing aerospace structural components
• Experience with ANSYS and/or Abaqus

Responsibilities

• Design and develop rocket propulsion structures, motor cases, nozzles, and flight hardware
• Perform structural and thermal finite element analysis (FEA)
• Select and qualify metals, composites, ceramics, insulation, and thermal protection materials
• Support additive manufacturing design and qualification
• Lead structural failure investigations and corrective actions
• Support component qualification, static-fire testing, and flight testing
• Collaborate with manufacturing, test, propulsion, and systems engineering teams
• Improve structural performance, manufacturability, weight, and reliability
