Job summary

ITG Communications is hiring an Aerial Lineman in Wisconsin. This role performs skilled aerial telecommunications construction and maintenance for fiber and copper networks, leading crews and ensuring on-time, safe project completion.

You will install aerial infrastructure, interpret designs, and operate bucket trucks and other equipment, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Telecommunications or lineman technical training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for the specified vehicle(s).

Responsibilities

• Perform aerial telecom construction activities including pole climbing, cable placement, and fiber/copper lashing per project specs and safety protocols.
• Lead and direct ground crew and junior members on aerial construction sites.
• Interpret telecom construction plans, design maps, and fiber route documentation.
• Install and maintain aerial telecom infrastructure with appropriate hardware and materials.
• Operate bucket trucks and aerial construction equipment.
• Ensure compliance with NESC, company standards, and client specifications.
• Train and mentor crew on safety and construction techniques.
