Job summary

ITG Communications, LLC seeks an experienced Aerial Telecom Lineman to lead field crews in installing and maintaining fiber and copper networks. You will climb poles, install cables, and ensure safety and quality on each project site.

Applicants should have at least 3+ years of aerial experience, be proficient with telecom prints, and hold a valid driver’s license. This safety-sensitive role requires strong leadership and precise execution in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Telecommunications or lineman training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for required vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerial telecommunications construction activities including pole climbing, strand placement, cable placement, and lashing of fiber or copper cables according to project specs and safety protocols.
• Lead and direct groundmen and crew members.
• Interpret and follow telecom construction prints and maps.
• Install aerial telecom infrastructure (fiber, copper, hardware).
• Operate bucket trucks and aerial construction equipment with safety compliance.
