Job summary

Innovien is hiring a Lead Software Engineer to own the AEM side of a high-traffic consumer site, with hands-on coding and architectural leadership. This technical leadership role stays in code, guiding standards and reviews without moving into management.

You will design, develop, and support AEM applications, collaborate across teams, and work across on-prem and cloud environments using Java, REST microservices, and AWS.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software development with 4+ years hands-on AEM (6.5 or AEM as a Cloud Service).
• Strong Java and REST-based microservices design experience.
• Technical leadership experience without formal management duties.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support AEM applications for a high-traffic site.
• Lead technically: code reviews, standards, mentoring, architecture decisions.
• Support AEM across on-prem and cloud (author, publish, dispatcher).
• Build solutions with Java, REST microservices, AWS, and modern front-ends.
