Hirobe is recruiting an experienced Lead Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Technical Lead in New Jersey. You will drive architecture, technical delivery, and engineering excellence across multiple initiatives while mentoring a high-performing team.

You will work with Java, AEM, AWS, and modern front-end technologies to deliver scalable digital experiences for millions of customers in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial Java development experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) experience (On-Premise or AEM as a Cloud Service).
• Strong experience developing applications using the Spring Boot framework.
• 3+ years of AWS cloud experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and technical direction of enterprise-scale digital platforms.
• Deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using Java, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and AWS.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple Agile delivery teams.
• Mentor and coach Software Engineers, promoting engineering best practices.
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
• Drive platform modernisation and cloud-native development initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, DevOps, and Engineering teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Champion software quality, performance, security, and scalability.

What You'll Be Doing

As the AEM Technical Lead, you'll play a key role in defining architecture, leading technical delivery, and ensuring engineering excellence across multiple strategic initiatives.

• Deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using Java, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and AWS.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of commercial Java development experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) experience (On-Premise or AEM as a Cloud Service).
• Strong experience developing applications using the Spring Boot framework.
• 3+ years of AWS cloud experience.
• Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture and cloud-native application design.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and enterprise web services.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimisation skills.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.

Front-End Experience

Experience with modern front-end technologies including:

• HTML5
• CSS3
• React
• Vue.js
• jQuery / AJAX

Nice to Have

• Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)
• Infrastructure as Code
• Enterprise platform migrations
• DevOps and automation tooling
