Job summary

Siemens Smart Infrastructure in Wendell, NC is seeking an experienced Advanced Relay & Automation Area Lead to drive SIPROTEC 5 production with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity. You will lead a cross-functional team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a manufacturing/technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, or operations.
• Experience as a team lead or informal leader in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily SIPROTEC 5 production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
• Provide day-to-day direction to production employees and promote safety and teamwork.
• Monitor area performance and help resolve issues affecting quality or delivery.
• Support staffing, training, cross-training, and employee development.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Supply Chain to meet objectives.
• Participate in root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
