The Opportunity

• Seeking Certified Emergency Medicine Advanced Providers or Nurse Practitioners.
• Previous leadership in the Emergency Department is required.
• Current national certification and DEA are required.
• Current CA state license is a plus.

The Practice

Doctors Hospital of Manteca – Manteca, California

• 456-bed trauma hospital with 29 beds in ED.
• Annual volume of 105,000 with ED annual volume of 8,000.
• Certified Level 2 trauma center.
• Hospital provides highly rated sub-specialty coverage within the ED, making this a very safe place to practice.
• Vituity contract since 1978.
• 95% of transfers from other hospitals come here.
• Certified Stroke and Chest Center.
• Top 5 cardiology sites in California with a 24-hour catheterization lab and STEMI receiving center.
• Central Valley Medical Education Award for Emergency Medicine Adjunct Faculty of the Year.
• Full set of specialists, so transfers out are rare.
• 3 residencies within the hospital for Family Practice, EM, and Orthopedics. Teaching opportunities are always welcome.
