Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of process controls/operations engineering experience in a petrochemical or refining facility.
• Able to identify needs and opportunities and work independently to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify control strategies for processing units.
• Provide technical support to the design, installation and maintenance of automation systems.
• Monitor operation of assigned units to meet production and quality goals.

Skills

Experience with DCS systems (e.g. Foxboro IA or Emerson Delta V)

Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office

Process Hazard Analysis and LOPA studies

Control application experience

Education

B.S. in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering

Tools

PLCs (Triconex or GE Fanuc)
