Job summary

Battelle Energy Alliance at Idaho National Laboratory's Materials and Fuels Complex seeks an Advanced Reactor Shift Supervisor to lead operations, safety programs, and procedure development for the Pele Mobile Nuclear Power Plant demonstration and related reactor projects. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years in nuclear/industrial settings, U.S.

citizenship with the ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance, and an active reactor operator credential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 5 years proven experience in a nuclear/industrial environment.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain DOE Q clearance.
• RO license/certification or Navy Reactor Officer experience preferred.
• Experience demonstrating sound judgment in prior roles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operations personnel and construction activities within the facility.
• Ensure all work follows approved procedures and work control.
• Act as Building Emergency Director during emergencies.
• Coordinate drills with the Emergency Action Manager as needed.
• Provide direction to operations supervisor for safe completion of Pele plant activities.
