Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory is seeking Advanced Reactor Operators to work at the Materials & Fuels Complex (MFC). The role operates on a 4x10 shift with every Friday off and rotating shifts during reactor testing.

INL emphasizes safety, documentation, and adherence to procedures while supporting nuclear fuels research and development. The position requires willingness to shift work, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to obtain a DOE L clearance (US citizenship).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience as outlined in the minimum requirements.
• Experience with operating and maintaining facility equipment and systems.
• Capability to pass technical written exams and related math/science courses.

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform some maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
• Maintain accurate operation records in logbooks or data packages.
• Review and provide input to proposed procedures and modifications.
• Apply standard procedures for assigned tasks and experiments.
• Apply Human Performance Improvement tools to work tasks.
