Job summary

FirstEnergy is seeking a Supervisor of Advanced Analytics to lead reliability analytics across the distribution system. The role focuses on evaluating reliability benefits, asset health, and investment decisions to optimize capital deployment and regulatory commitments.

The position requires a BS degree and at least seven years of related experience, strong SQL/Power BI skills, and the ability to guide a team of professionals across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum of 7 years related work experience is required.
• Strong data analytical skills, including SQL query writing, Power BI and experience with large datasets.
• Knowledge of electric distribution systems, reliability standards, and IT systems applied to distribution operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to influence across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team to deliver data analytics and reliability insights for FirstEnergy distribution assets.
• Develop reliability benefit calculations for rider programs and capital investments.
• Coach and develop a team of specialists and engineers to maintain high performance.
• Coordinate IT system integration and support storm restoration activities when needed.
• Collaborate with engineering, portfolio, operations and regulatory teams to drive reliability investments.
