Job summary

Walmart’s Advanced Analytics Manager leads a team delivering data-driven insights to support strategic business objectives in the San Bruno area. This role partners with leadership to identify challenges, develop models, and provide actionable recommendations driving business value.

You will mentor analysts, manage end-to-end projects, and collaborate across Product, Business, and Data Science teams to optimize pricing strategy and marketplace performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field.
• 2 years' experience in data analytics or related field OR 4 years' experience in data analytics or related field.
• Certificate in business analytics, data mining, or statistical analysis.
• Masters: MBA, Information Systems, Statistics.

Responsibilities

• Identify analytics objectives with leadership and develop research plans addressing key challenges.
• Lead and mentor a team to achieve business area goals.
• Manage end-to-end project workstreams with risk assessment and oversight.
• Develop and validate advanced data models and algorithms to drive insights.
• Present strategic recommendations based on data analysis to inform initiatives.
• Foster cross-functional relationships to support consultative solutions and business needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies while promoting continuous learning.
