tesa is seeking a Product Developer for the Air and Waterproofing business line in the United States. You will lead design and development of pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes for building and construction, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure performance and manufacturability.

Responsibilities include driving new product development from concept to final results, building prototypes, advancing material and formulation development, and guiding co-development with key customers

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science.
• Strong analytical and process-oriented thinking with a systematic approach.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsabilidades

• Develop adhesive tapes focused on building and construction, improving existing products and expanding offerings.
• Lead and manage innovative product development projects from concept to completion.
• Create, build, and evaluate prototypes (lab, pilot, production) and report findings clearly.
• Drive material and formulation development and define relevant test methods.
• Lead co-development projects with selected customers for new products or expanded apps.
• Participate in tech days, trade fairs, and open house events.
• Analyze competitive solutions and market trends to shape product strategy.
• Other duties as assigned.
