Job summary

Resolution Life Group Services Limited seeks an Actuary, Model Validation to lead a team responsible for independent, risk-based validation of models across the organization. You will develop a consistent validation methodology and manage the annual portfolio of validations, coordinating with Risk, Actuarial, Finance, and other functions.

The role requires FSA or near FSA with 7+ years’ experience, including supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance or related business discipline.
• FSA or near FSA with 7+ years of experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience with actuarial modeling platforms (GGY AXIS and/or Prophet) is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI applications to improve model validation and processes.
• Strong knowledge of life insurance and annuities and related actuarial disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and establish the model validation team’s operating model and governance.
• Develop and manage the annual model validation plan and resource allocation.
• Oversee independent model validations ensuring technical soundness and proper documentation.
• Provide challenge and maintain objectivity in the validation process.
• Review workpapers, communicate findings, and coordinate remediation actions.
• Develop team through coaching, performance management, and career development.
