Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics or related field; or equal experience.
• FSA certification required upon hire.
• 8 years pricing/actuarial health care experience plus 3 years management.
• Strong leadership, communication and regulatory liaison abilities.
• Proficiency with actuarial modelling and risk evaluation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Direct actuarial staff to meet senior management goals and timelines.
• Set long-term strategy for the Actuarial department in collaboration with leadership.
• Represent actuarial functions to internal/external customers and regulators.
• Hire and develop a growing team with SOA exam progress and optimal workload.
