Job summary

Pareto Solutions Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support financial statements, variance analysis, and cross-functional reporting. You will partner with executives and operations to ensure US-GAAP compliance, IFRS exposure, and timely filings.

The role includes mentoring staff accountants, coordinating the annual budget, and driving robust reporting processes while delivering insights from large data sets in Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with analyzing large data (1000+rows) sets in Excel, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of US-GAAP required and exposure to IFRS preferred.
• Full financial statement prep experience is preferred.
• Previous experience gained in the manufacturing industry is preferred, no required.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of financial statements and variance reports on a timely basis.
• Ideal will have a solid foundation in accounting, ability to work cross functionally and communicate at a high level with business and executive leaders.
• Support the coordination of U.S. GAAP and IFRS reporting to ensure the timely, accurate completion of financial reports for all required filings.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to management.
• Stay abreast of financial reporting and regulatory developments which can impact the company and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Perform advanced problem solving and complex variance analysis.
• Assist with the coordination of the annual budget process.
• Organize and manage projects to completion.
• Establish, modify, document, and implement reporting processes and control procedures.
• Help drive a performance-based culture and function as a business partner to the executive team, operational leaders, and other key stakeholders.
• Mentor staff accountants within the function including completion of assigned duties and reporting responsibilities.
