Job summary

C2 Technology Group, a Crete United Company, is seeking a field technician to install, configure, and troubleshoot access control systems. You will work with card readers, door controllers, and credential platforms on client sites.

Responsibilities include performing site surveys, coordinating with project managers, documenting installations, and conducting QA. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years installing and servicing access control systems.
• Familiar with Lenel, Software House, Genetec, Honeywell, or similar.
• Experience with low-voltage cabling and termination practices.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Must read/write/speak English and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot access control systems (card readers, door controllers, credentials).
• Pull and terminate low-voltage cabling for access control infrastructure.
• Conduct site surveys and coordinate with project managers and engineers.
• Complete installation documentation and QA reports.
• Perform system testing and commissioning after project completion.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience installing and servicing access control systems
• Familiarity with industry-recognized platforms (Lenel, Software House, Genetec, Honeywell, or similar)
• Experience with low-voltage cabling and termination practices
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English and perform basic math
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs, work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying temperatures
• Verifiable experience and character references required

Pre-hire drug screen, background, and DMV checks required. Pay is based on knowledge, experience, and ability.

Compensation:

$20-$28/hr
