Job Title: Lead Access Control Technician

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay Rate: Starting at $35/hr

Position Summary:

Anistar Technologies is seeking a Lead Access Control Technician to install and service access control, CCTV, and surveillance systems.

The technician leads teams or crews in installation and performs service for new equipment, repairs, and system troubleshooting. The role supports the security solutions business by installing and troubleshooting electronic security systems, including intrusion detection, access control, and CCTV equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform installation and service of security management solutions such as access control, intrusion alarms, CCTV systems, and related systems. Install, configure, and test equipment until completion.
2. Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot, reconfigure, and repair equipment and devices.
3. Execute service calls in compliance with regulations and safety policies, utilizing troubleshooting skills to resolve issues.
4. Perform programming for CCTV cameras, access control devices, and intrusion alarms as needed.
5. Coordinate with administration and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
6. Provide system integrations, upgrades, audits, and database management. Support network systems and equipment for projects.
7. Terminate equipment and field devices, verifying operation from the field to reporting systems.
8. Complete detailed service reports promptly for accurate invoicing and job tracking.
9. Be adaptable and willing to perform tasks as required daily.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

1. Certification in Software House, Lenel, Open Option, AMAG, Avigilon, DMP, Genetec, or Milestone is a plus.
2. Ability to read technical documents, drawings, and prints.
3. Good communication skills and quick thinking in a fast-paced, technical environment.
4. Data Center experience is preferred.
