Job Title: Field Support Technician – Southwestern US

Location: Candidates must be based in the Southwestern US (AZ, NM, TX, CO, NV, or nearby states)

The Leadership Collective is partnering with a global construction technology leader to hire a Field Support Technician. This is a hands-on, travel-heavy role ideally suited to someone based in the Southwestern US who enjoys working directly with machinery, solving technical challenges, and supporting customers across a wide geographic area.

This is not a regional role. While you will be based in the Southwestern US, travel will extend across the country and occasionally internationally. Travel can be expected approximately 50 percent of the time, with flexibility depending on customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer sites for on-site troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system issues
  • Deliver in-person operator training, both hands-on and classroom-based
  • Provide rotational 24/7 phone-based support when not traveling
  • Document all service activity and support internal teams with field insights
  • Act as a trusted technical resource to customers and internal engineering teams

Ideal Background:

  • 3–5 years working with industrial machinery or construction equipment
  • Strong hydraulic troubleshooting experience is required
  • Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to dynamic schedules
  • Spanish language skills are a plus
