Job Responsibilities

1. Troubleshoots and repairs abatement equipment, such as combustion, thermal, wet, plasma, dry bed, and other technology-based systems.
2. Follows and enforces all safety protocols before and after maintenance activities.
3. Consults with site management on system issues and recovery plans.
4. Oversees or assists in the installation of equipment according to specifications.
5. Operates systems to demonstrate equipment and analyze malfunctions.
6. Interprets manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams; repairs equipment using electronics knowledge and standard tools; utilizes maintenance software to troubleshoot.
7. Instructs and directs workers in electro-mechanical repairs.
8. Collaborates with engineering to resolve system operation issues.
9. Supervises testing, tuning, and adjustments for optimal performance.
10. Coordinates with managers to improve customer satisfaction and product performance.
11. Performs helium leak checks post-repair and maintenance.
12. Available for on-call rotation 24/7, including nights and weekends.
13. Performs routine and preventative maintenance per documented procedures.
14. Manages preventive maintenance schedules and activities.
15. Disassembles, cleans, and reassembles equipment and parts.
16. Conducts system start-up and post-maintenance testing.
17. Maintains logs and documentation; updates relevant documents and reports.
18. Maintains a clean work environment and tools.

Job Requirements

1. Supports a 3-day/4-day workweek rotation, 12 hours per day.
2. 1-2 years of mechanical or electrical experience.
3. Military applicants encouraged.
4. Associates degree or certification in electro-mechanical fields preferred.
5. Ability to read and understand technical instructions.
6. Effective communication skills with supervisors and managers.
7. Physical ability to walk, stand, lift, and work in various environments.
8. Willingness to wear PPE including respirators and protective gear.
9. Ability to pass drug screening and background checks.
10. High school diploma required.
