Job summary

Atlas Air Worldwide is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to inspect, modify and repair company aircraft at the maintenance base. You will troubleshoot discrepancies, lead mechanics on advanced tasks, and coordinate materials and tooling for scheduled work.

The role requires reading blueprints and technical orders, FAA A&P certificate, and the ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. You will ensure safety, compliance with FAA procedures, and timely departures of aircraft.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
• Experienced transport category aircraft maintenance experience.
• Read, write, fluently speak and understand English.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft software and in use of digital manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot technical discrepancies and execute repair of company aircraft.
• Accomplish aircraft inspections per company procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics and technical orders.
• Inspect and assist in maintenance of company equipment and tooling.
• Coordinate materials and tooling requirements for projected work for entire shift.
• Act as shift manager as required.
