Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a skilled A&P Mechanic IV in Florida to supervise maintenance crews and oversee major overhauls and inspections. The role ensures regulatory compliance and will include training junior mechanics.

Expect extended deployments to OCONUS locations and long shift hours. You will work within the IAS aviation and security business area, contributing to ISR and airframe/engine maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification with no prior FAA violations.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to deploy for extended periods to various OCONUS operating locations and pass a pre-deployment medical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance teams and projects.
• Oversee major overhauls and inspections.
• Ensure all work meets regulatory and safety standards.
• Conduct training and development sessions for junior mechanics.
• Coordinate with other departments to streamline operations.
• Develop and implement maintenance protocols.
• Ensure thorough documentation and reporting of all maintenance activities.
