Job summary

STS Technical Services is seeking a Lead Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic to support corporate aircraft maintenance operations in Stuart, Florida. This hands-on leadership role oversees major maintenance projects and works directly with other technicians on a compressed four 10-hour shift schedule.

The ideal candidate holds an FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate with substantial corporate or business aviation maintenance experience and prior Hawker aircraft familiarity.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate required.
• Substantial corporate/business aviation maintenance experience.
• Prior Hawker maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lead major inspections and projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance.
• Lead inspections, troubleshooting and repair activities.
• Coordinate with maintenance management on daily planning and workload distribution.
• Ensure maintenance complies with FAA regulations and approved programs.
• Provide technical guidance to technicians and review documentation.
