Qualifications

Role Description

The Lead A&P Aviation Technician is a full-time, hybrid role based in West Palm Beach, FL. This role leads and performs day-to-day aircraft maintenance activities, including scheduled and unscheduled inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and functional checks on airframes, powerplants, and aircraft systems. The lead technician coordinates work assignments, ensures adherence to FAA regulations, company procedures, and safety standards, and reviews maintenance documentation for accuracy and completeness. Responsibilities include mentoring technicians, supporting AOG and mobile maintenance operations, communicating with maintenance leadership and customers on work status, and helping manage parts requirements and workflow priorities. The role also contributes to continuous improvement efforts, promotes a safety-first culture, and supports quality and reliability objectives across all maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Aircraft Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair, including inspection, troubleshooting, and corrective action on a variety of business aircraft.
• Hands-on experience with Aircraft Structures, including airframe repairs, structural assessments, and compliance with applicable maintenance manuals and regulatory requirements.
• Comprehensive knowledge of PowerPlant systems, engine performance, and related components, with the ability to perform diagnostics, repairs, and post-maintenance testing.
• Solid understanding of Aircraft Systems (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, avionics, environmental, and fuel systems) and the ability to integrate system-level troubleshooting and repair.
• Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate; additional inspection authorization (IA) is a plus.
• Several years of progressively responsible experience in aircraft maintenance, including lead, supervisory, or mentoring responsibilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
