Job summary

Pullman School District is seeking a Head Volleyball Coach for the 8th grade varsity team at Lincoln Middle School in Pullman, WA. The role develops and maintains a successful athletic program and requires strong coaching and teaching abilities.

Responsibilities include leading all levels of the athletic program, coordinating player development, and collaborating with staff, parents, and the community. A teaching certificate or college degree is preferred; First Aid/CPR is required.

Qualifications

• Evidence of successful competitive coaching and/or playing experience.
• Must be 21 years old per WIAA regulations.
• Current First Aid/CPR card.

Responsibilities

• Work with student athletes to teach athletic skills and sportsmanship.
• Provide leadership for all levels of the athletic program.
• Coordinate player development and skill progression.
• Work with other school programs and community partners.
• Manage inventory and budget related to the program.
• Prepare fields and gym spaces for activities.
