South Bend Community School Corp seeks a 7th Grade English/Language Arts teacher to deliver standards-aligned instruction and support diverse learners. The role requires collaboration with a SPED co-teacher and paraprofessional to plan lessons and pace instruction effectively.

As lead teacher, you will supervise paraprofessionals, use the SBCSC technology, and participate in staff meetings and professional development to drive student achievement and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Language Arts license or endorsement; Bachelor's degree required.
• If licensed, apply standard teaching certification in Indiana.
• Experience with diverse populations and collaboration with SPED staff.

Responsabilités

• Teach English/Language Arts curriculum aligned to Indiana standards.
• Use differentiated strategies and data to guide instruction.
• Manage learning, assess growth, and provide IEP accommodations.
• Collaborate in a professional learning community and with grade teams.
• Record grades, monitor progress, and communicate with families.
