Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Modeling & Simulation engineer to build and maintain high-fidelity simulations and digital twins for airborne platforms, supporting GNC software integration and validation. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of modeling & simulation for airborne platforms.
• Proficiency in C++, Matlab, Simulink, Simulink Embedded Coder, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop simulation solutions for 6DOF and GNC algorithm development.
• Develop and maintain SITL and HITL tests.
• Collaborate with the flight software team to define requirements and integrate GNC software.
• Characterization work (aero, optics, actuators, IMUs) for both fixed wing and rotorcraft.
• Review test data to verify vehicle performance and debug incidents.
• Develop models to support functional evaluation of GNC software.
