Job summary
General Motors seeks a senior engineering leader to guide a team of 3D artists and pipeline engineers supporting Autonomous Vehicle Simulation objectives.
You will provide technical leadership, steer execution of the Simulation framework deliverables, lead staffing initiatives, conduct reviews, and collaborate across multiple teams to drive innovation and quality. 7+ years of software development experience and strong background in 3D content are required.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of software development experience with a focus on 3D Content.
- Experience leading teams and staffing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Leads, guides and directs a group of 3D artists and pipeline engineers responsible for engineering deliverables in support of the Autonomous Vehicle Simulation organization's business objectives.
- Manages engineering execution of team as related to the Simulation framework deliverables.
- Provides technical leadership to work team. Interacts and collaborates with many teams cross-functionally.
- Leads team on new methods or initiatives without defined procedures.
- Reviews and approves engineering documentation, e.g. requirements, documents.
- Hiring: Identifies & leads staffing initiatives for work team.
