Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience interacting with multiple groups of people and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and initiate innovative solutions to obtain successful outcomes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong technology expertise; Proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and recommend safety, continuous improvement, employee performance, quality, expenses, and productivity.
• Interprets work orders, staffing, machine capabilities, etc., and assigns duties accordingly.
• Organize controls and audits of the operation to ensure a quality product is produced efficiently.
• Assist in department operations including setting up new parts, training operators, troubleshooting equipment.
• Drive collaboration and improvements through communications, teamwork, and KPIs.
• Supports Lean Daily Management tools to drive and measure operational performance, Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.
• Supports 5S initiatives for organization and cleaning of all work areas.
• Ensure department personnel receive appropriate training and orientation to perform their jobs effectively and efficiently.
